I remember growing up my mom would always buy the packets of taco seasoning from the store so when I started cooking for myself, I thought that was what you had to do. I honestly didn’t even consider making taco seasoning myself until a few years ago when I saw another blogger use homemade taco seasoning in a recipe!
Once I starting make taco seasoning myself, I couldn’t go back to the store-bought packages! I didn’t realize how salty those packages were until I made my own mix. Nowadays, I make up a big batch of taco mix and keep it in a mason jar in the cabinet. Easy peasy! I hope you use this recipe as much as I do!
